Ohioans Have Until Oct. 10 to Register to Vote. Here's How

[Nick Castele / ideastream]

September 26 is National Voter Registration Day, and it’s also just two weeks before Ohio’s Oct. 10 deadline to sign up to vote in the 2017 elections.

Volunteers will help sign people up at events across the state today. In Cuyahoga County, there will be registration drives at the board of elections, Neighborhood Family Practice health centers, the Rocky River and East Cleveland public libraries, and other locations. Find the complete list here.

But if you can’t attend, you can still register or update your information online at the Ohio secretary of state’s website.

A paper registration form is available online here. Voters can fill it out, print it and mail it in to their county board of elections.

Early voting begins Oct. 11 for the Nov. 7 general election.
