In a determined and pained voice, Robert Brandt told an audience of more than 600 law enforcement officials, doctors, pharmacists and others the story of his son's addiction to pain killers and how he eventually found himself searching for his son late one night in East Cleveland.
"For what ever reason, the drug caught him that day," Brandt said.
