Papermaker Aimee Lee; Feature Film Rotor DR1; Artist Wifredo Lam

We look at Korea’s time honored tradition of wishing newlyweds prosperity, wealth and happiness with ducks with Artist Aimee Lee.

And the use of drones in TV and film production has become quite common. In the new feature-film, Rotor DR-1, they’re elevated to a more prominent role - as sidekick!

Reportedly, when Pablo Picasso was introduced to Cuban born artist Wifredo Lam he said, “you remind me of someone that I knew many years ago,” ME! The two men’s friendship lasted the rest of their lives. But Wifredo Lam never received the acclaim that Picasso did. But that’s changing. A recent retrospective of Lam’s work at the McMullen Museum at Boston College examined the artist as a global figure.

Recently, The Children’s Museum of Clevelandlost its lease to make way for a high-rise apartment.  According to the Museum’s Executive Director, Maria Campanelli, it was a blessing in disguise.
