Support for Pregnant Women & New Moms:

CenteringPregnancy at University Hospitals MacDonald Women’s Center provides women with pregnancy and birth-related information in a group setting.

MomsFirst provides support to expectant mothers living in the city of Cleveland. Women who participate in the MomsFirst program will receive health education on topics such as prenatal care, breastfeeding, family planning, and safe sleep. Please contact the referral line at (216) 664-4194 for additional information.

Through the Ohio Department of Health, WIC provides nutrition information for women, infants and children.

Through NEON (Northeast Ohio Neighborhood Health Services), the Ohio Infant Mortality Reduction Initiative (OIMRI) works to improve birth outcomes and decrease infant death rates.

Cuyahoga County’s Invest in Children is a community partnership administered by the Cuyahoga County Office of Early Childhood and provides resources and services to parents and caregivers in the community.

Help Me Grow supports families of children who are developmentally delayed or disabled, with resources and services to help them reach their goals. Their home visiting program also provides new parents with information and support, right from home.
