Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson and Police Chief Calvin Williams sat down with ideastream’s Darrielle Snipes just one day after the search for Steve Stephens ended.

After a two day nation-wide manhunt and over four hundred tips from across the country, he was spotted in Erie, Pennsylvania.  Stephens took his own life after a brief police chase.

Police says Stephens killed 74 year-old Robert Godwin, Sr. on Easter Sunday and then posted the murder on Facebook.

This crime recieved international attention Mayor Jackson says.

Mayor Jackson and Chief Williams thank the community for their help but ask for help on other crimes.

And say no resources were taken away for other cases to look for Stephens.
