Baseball great Jim Thome has added another honor to his scorecard: hall of famer. The former first baseman for the Cleveland Indians was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on July 29th in front of a crowd of 53 thousand people. He's the first Indians player to be inducted since 1976. Thome's impressive career includes 612 home runs and two World Series appearances, but he credits his parents and hard work for his success. ideastream's Mike McIntyre was at the ceremony and has this report from Cooperstown.
