The topic, justice reform in cuyahoga county. At the city club of cleveland common pleas court administrative judge john russo and county prosecutor michael o'malley  emphasized their commitment to building a system that delivers justice and earns the trust of the community.

Specific issues included bail reform, charging decisions and how best to deal with mentally ill individuals who get caught up in the criminal justice system. A concern raised by advocacy groups including the religious coalition greater cleveland congregations.

And, to help us dig down into this theme of mental illness and courts are Bob Triozzi, a former Cleveland Municipal Court Judge who is now the Law Director of Cuyahoga County, and Valeria Harper, the new Executive Director of Cuyahoga County's Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board, a front line agency on this issue.
