Petting Zoo: Bear Orders Takeout

A BIG BLACK BEAR WAS SPOTTED MAKING A BREAKFAST RUN IN ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA.

VIDEO, CAPTURED IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS, SHOWS THE BEAR SELECTING TRASH BAGS FROM GARBAGE CANS AND CARRYING THEM OFF.

NEIGHBORS SAID AT LEAST ONE TRASH CAN WAS LATER FOUND TIPPED OVER, BUT THE BEAR APPARENTLY LEFT THE NEIGHBORHOOD PEACEFULLY AND DIDN'T CAUSE ANY FURTHER DAMAGE.

CALIFORNIA'S BLACK BEAR POPULATION HAS DOUBLED OVER THE PAST 25 YEARS. CURRENTLY, THE STATEWIDE BLACK BEAR POPULATION IS ESTIMATED TO BE BETWEEN 25,000 AND 30,000.
