Pro-Democracy Demonstrations Continue in Hong Kong

A growing number of pro-democracy supporters, most of them college students like we showed you last week, join the fight in Hong Kong, speaking out against new election policies put in place by the Chinese government.

China's reaction? They're monitoring all media on the mainland, including t-v news reports and social media sites like instagram, by censoring, or taking down any comments or posts relating to the Hong Kong demonstrations.

But that's not stopping the tens of thousands of students gathering in the streets of Hong Kong's financial district.

Did you notice all the umbrellas in the crowd? It's common practice in Hong Kong to use an umbrella year round to protect from both the sun and rain, but protesters are now using them as a protective shield and to help spread their message of democracy, earning the tag, "umbrella movement".
