Cuyahoga County Council is scheduled to consider legislation that would lead to the installation of automatic license plate readers in numerous locations across the county.  The camera units will snap pictures of license plates at a busy intersection in each of  the communities and send the information to a searchable database.  Those locations are specific intersections in: Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, Euclid, Fairview Park, Garfield Heights, Independence, Lakewood, Lyndhurst, Maple Heights, Mayfield Heights, North Olmsted, Olmsted Township, Orange, Parma, Shaker Heights, Solon, South Euclid,  Strongsville, University Circle, and Woodmere.
