Despite the snow cover, the virtual offerings are springing forth in the new year. Here are five entertaining online ideas from Northeast Ohio artists and art institutions.

Uno Lady

Confined to her Cleveland home for the debut of her new album,  GROUNDED, Uno Lady releases a companion experimental film in lieu of a concert. Shot mostly in her backyard, stop-motion animations accompany her meditational music.

Heights Arts

"Posing the Question" is the new exhibit opening at Heights Arts Gallery responding to racial injustice in America. While the show is open to a limited in-person audience, Heights Arts hosts an artist livestream Friday, January 22 at 7 p.m. via Facebook.

Tri-C Performing Arts

To kick off its 2021 Classical Piano Series, Tri-C Performing Arts welcomes the husband and wife duo of Antonio Pompa-Baldi and Emanuela Friscioni Sunday, January 24 at 2 p.m. The virtual recital spotlights the premiere of Italian composer Luca Moscardi's Suite, Op. 13.

Ensemble Theatre

Every other Monday night Ensemble Theatre hosts a live reading series of local,  10-minute plays. Northeast Ohio writers Ife-Gail Young and Edward J. Walsh take the virtual stage Monday, January 25 at 7 p.m.

Mandel Jewish Community Center

The next chapter of the Mandel JCC's annual Cleveland Jewish Book Festival begins Tuesday, January 26 at 7:30 p.m., with a virtual reading by Mimi Lemay, the author of "What We Will Become: A Mother, A Son and A Journey of Transformation." The series continues through February 22, including a featured local author day on February 7 at 11 a.m.
