Cleveland State University recently took a major step in growing the film industry in northeast Ohio by opening a new school of Film and Media Arts. Beginning this fall, CSU’s Film and Media Arts program severed longstanding ties with the School of Communication, where it was a major within Communication since its inception. CSU decided to reorganize the popular film program and make it the first stand-alone film school in Ohio.
