The Cleveland Opera presents Two Portraits: a free production of staged Songs by Schumann

As part of its series  Opera Free to All, The Cleveland Opera will present a fresh approach to art song in its production of  Two Portraits. The company will mount an original, staged-and-costumed version of Robert Schumannâs song cycles "Dichterliebe" and "Frauenliebe und Leben" sung in the original German with English translation projected. FREE. Duration: 50 minutes. There will be 10 performances of Schumannâs  Two Portraits from November 11 to December 3 in multiple venues.
