NewsDepth Inbox: Season 48 - Episode #20

NEWSDEPTH QUESTION OF THE WEEK:  In this week's episode, we discussed a few techniques for staying healthy in the winter. Write to us and tell us how you keep germ free.

Matt, St. Peter School:  I stay germ free by washing my hands, using hand sanitizer, not sharing my food, covering my mouth and nose when I sneeze or when I cough, and keeping my hygiene high. That's how I stay germ free.

Ruby:  Central Trail Elementary:  The way I stay germ-free is by washing my hands after using the restroom. I also take showers every night. I wash my dog and everything else around me. I don't do it willingly; I don't like cleaning. Although I'm not very hygienic, I still clean things to stop me from getting sick.

Connor, North Ridgeville Academic Center:  The way I stay germ free is by staying away from others that are sick and staying healthy like eating vegetables and staying away from the things that I'm allergic to.

Elise, Ayer Elementary:  Ways I stay heathy are by washing my hands as soon as I get home and using a ton of hand sanitizer when I get home from school and other germ infected places.  I also recommend washing you sheets a lot and when it’s cold out to were super warm clothes so I don’t get sick. My strategies have worked because I hardly ever get sick. So if you get sick often, try these.

Ethan, Hillsdale Elementary:  My family takes Fabreeze and sprays it everywhere. We do that because it kills 99.9% of germs. My family also washes our hands to keep those germs away. We take showers every day and use Germ-X hand sanitizer to take germs away. The last thing is after we eat, we wipe our faces with a wipe. That's what my family does to take care of the germs.
