NewsDepth Inbox: Season 49 - Episode #4

This week we learned about the first non-astronaut to go to the moon - a Japanese billionaire bringing a flight full of artists to promote world peace. Put your space suits on for this week's question!  If you could pay for a flight for the moon who would you take with you and what issue would you promote?

Caden Elmhurst Elementary:  If I could pay for a flight to the moon, I would take my mom, dad, and my brothers. They are the people in my immediate family, and they are the most important to me. I would promote the issue of world hunger. This is because hunger affects a very large portion of the population, and it would affect the most people's lives out of most of the other problems to solve.

Jaelyn, Bruce Elementary:  I I was flying in a rocket to the moon I would take a scientist that knows a lot about the moon and space. Besides that I would take singers and celebrities like Selena Gomez, Kevin Hart, Bebe Rexha, and Taylor Swift. Music makes me confident in my work and it keeps me foucused and doing what I love.

Braylon, Edison Elementary:  If I were to take a trip to the moon, I would take my friends, family, and teachers. I would promote having video games in school because you can go outside, in games such as Pokemon Go, and it also builds character and teamwork. If there is teamwork in the game, that makes for a good life skill. With online games, it requires teamwork and communication skills in order to get the job done.

Khanh, Pleasant Run Elementary:  If I could have enough money to take a trip around the moon and I could take anyone I want, it would be one of my best friends. It would be nice if I took my family, but I see their faces every day. And if I  had to promote something or someone, it would be to treat everyone the same.   There will be no major problem, but of course we could have our own opinion, just like my teacher said '' We don't have to love each other, we just have to respect each other.''

Mikayla, Dodge Intermediate:  If I went to the moon, I would bring my friend Ari.  I think she and I would like it up there.  I will support homeless people and give books, shoes, food, and some money and clothing.  I would make a group where you build little houses for homeless people.
