Ship Sets Sail from Mexico for World Tour

THE SHIP’S NAME TRANSLATES TO "AMBASSADOR AND KNIGHT OF THE SEAS."

IT WILL VISIT FIFTEEN PORTS IN TWELVE COUNTRIES IN A VOYAGE THAT COMMEMORATES THE MEXICAN CONSTITUTION'S ONE HUNDRED YEAR ANNIVERSARY.

NINE CIVILIAN GUESTS ARE ABOARD ALONG WITH 47 OFFICERS, 43 CADETS, AND 133 NAVAL SCHOOL STUDENTS.

THE VOYAGE'S MISSION IS TO STRENGTHEN TIES WITH OTHER NATIONS AND ESTABLISH CULTURAL RELATIONS AMONG ARMED FORCES.

MEXICO'S SECRETARY OF NAVY SAID THE SHIP WILL SPREAD MESSAGES OF PEACE AND GOODWILL. THIS MARKS THE FOURTH TIME "AMBASSADOR AND KNIGHT OF THE SEAS" HAS EMBARKED ON A JOURNEY AROUND THE GLOBE.

THANKS, STEPHANIE.

AS YOU JUST HEARD "AMBASSADOR AND KNIGHT OF THE SEAS" IS INTENDED TO SPREAD MESSAGES OF PEACE AND GOODWILL FROM MEXICO TO 12 OTHER COUNTRIES…AND THAT BRINGS US TO THIS WEEK’S WRITE-IN QUESTION! WE WANT TO KNOW: IF YOU WERE ON A MISSION TO SPREAD A MESSAGE ABOUT THE UNITED STATES -- WHAT WOULD IT BE? AND DON’T FORGET TO TELL US WHAT THE NAME OF YOUR BOAT WOULD BE!
