2019 Inamori Ethics Prize Recipient, LeVar Burton, Discusses His Career And Advocacy

LeVar Burton has been entertaining and informing fans for more than four decades. From his breakthrough performance in the groundbreaking mini-series Roots, to his more than two decades hosting Reading Rainbow to Star Trek the Next Generation, Burton has had an impact across generations.  He's also has been a staunch advocate for children's literacy and AIDS research.

The Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence at Case Western Reserve University selected Burton as this year's recipient for the Inamori Ethics Prize. He's the first person receive the prize for ethical excellence in the arts.  LeVar Burton joins me this hour to discuss his career and take your questions.
