Community Action Poverty Simulation; "I Am Human" Documentary

Thirty-six percent of Clevelanders live in poverty. More than half of Cleveland's children do, too. But for those who don't, poverty may simply be a concept. Can you know what it's like to worry about housing, food and transportation if you've always had a house, a meal and a car? In an effort to build empathy and understanding, Tri-C will conduct a poverty simulation tomorrow. This hour, we'll discuss the the Community Action Poverty Simulation and discover how one afternoon thinking about being in the shoes of the poor might help move toward ideas that will help. Later, we will meet a filmmaker and a researcher who worked on "I  Am Human" -- a documentary premiering January 30 in Cleveland.
