The backlash against Facebook is gathering momentum in the wake of revelations that  data was left unprotected and personal information from 50 million users was misused by a British data consultancy, Cambridge  Analytica. It was then used to target people for political ads.  CEO Mark Zuckerberg has apologized and vowed to improve security of user data.  Users, and their data, are the product for facebook.
