Mental Health Stigma & Alcoholics Anonymous Anniversary

More than 450 million people worldwide suffer from a mental illness, yet many still deal with stigma and barriers to treatment. On Wednesday’s The Sound of Ideas at 9, we’ll discuss this issue with an international mental health advocate. Then, ahead of Akron’s 82nd anniversary of the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous, we’ll hear from those in recovery about the process of becoming sober.
