Olympic Rower, Meningitis Vaccine, Students and Screen Time

After losing his 5-year-old niece to meningitis, State Senator Cliff Hite spent years raising awareness about the disease, and pushing Ohio to come into line with what other states have done - to protect children. This school year - the changes take place.... and the Senator joins us (Wednesday/later this) morning to talk about the disease, why we're targeting kids in seventh grade - and even an Ohio app that will help parents stay up to date on their children's latest vaccination requirements. We'll also be talking to an Olympian from Cuyahoga County who finished fourth in her race.

-Felice Mueller, Olympic Rower, Gates Mills native

-Dr. Mary DiOrio, Medical Director, Ohio Department of Health

-State Sen. Cliff Hite, Sponsored law requiring meningitis vaccination

-Dr. Katherine Lamparyk, Pediatric Psychologist, The Cleveland Clinic

-Dr. Ken Veon, Director of Operations and Technology, Beachwood Schools
