The Coronavirus Puts Strain On First Responders; Creating Social Distancing In Public Parks

Cases of the coronavirus  in Ohio number 2,547 and rising.  Sixty-five people have died of the virus in the state, and state leaders say the surge of cases is approaching. Ohio is tapping manufacturers to turn their expertise toward manufacturing the medical and safety equipment that are desperately needed by those on the frontlines of the pandemic. We will get the latest on the state's response from our team in Columbus.  Then Berea has had six firefighter/paramedics test positive for COVID-19--the illness caused by the coronavirus-- underscoring the risk taken by first responders. We will speak to the mayor of that city. Plus, parks increase efforts to maintain social distancing outdoors.
