The 10th annual spring musical collaboration between the Beck Center for the Arts in Lakewood and the Baldwin-Wallace musical theater department is a quintet of new virtual musicals, resulting from a pandemic-inspired program of the National Alliance for Musical Theater. Scott Spence, the Beck Center's Artistic Director, explains how the conversion to a virtual presentation came about. B-W's Musical Theater Program Director, Victoria Bussert, describes (1) how the NAMT got involved and (2) the subject matter of the five winning musicals, to WCLV's Jacqueline Gerber.
