WCLV's Jacqueline Gerber introduces the three participants in the free virtual "Listening Series," designed to bring listener understanding of piano music to a higher level. Piano ClevelandPresident Yaron Kohlberg explains the three-part series, in which he performs on May 19. Cleveland Institute of Music faculty member Marshall Griffith previews his May 5 presentation, followed by Caroline Oltmanns, head of the piano department at the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University, who performs May 12. Those who attend all three sessions will have a chance to become a Certified Armchair Juror during the Cleveland International Piano Competition, July 8 - 25.
